Hire Agreement and Disclaimer for Bouncy Castles, Rodeo and other equipment.

Any persons/organisation hiring our inflatables are responsible/liable for any damage or injuries occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Persons using the inflatable do so at their own risk. These guidelines are for the safety of all persons using the inflatable, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Our company cannot accept responsibility for any damage or injury to anyone using the equipment however caused.

For health and safety our rodeo simulators can carry a maximum user weight of 16 stone.

For your information, safety and enjoyment we recommend the following:

1. It is important to allow up to 1 hour before the start of your party and up to 1 hour after your party to allow for travel time in order to pack away. All times are approximate and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.

2. The castles have an age limit of up to 14 years of age unless otherwise specified . Please ensure that no one over this age uses the inflatable especially adults. This is due to safety, manufacturing and insurance reasons.

3. A responsible adult must supervise children at all times whilst on the inflatable.

4. Please do not allow anyone on the inflatable whilst inflating/deflating.

5. Children are not allowed to climb, sit or hang on the inflatable walls.

6. Do not allow children to bounce on the front safety step. The safety step is to assist users in getting on/off safely.

7. Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit the number of users to allow enough room for each child to play safely. Try to avoid small and large children using the inflatable at the same time.

8. All shoes, badges and jewellery must be removed. We also recommend spectacles be removed.

9. No food or drinks to be consumed whilst on the inflatable to avoid both mess and possibility of choking.

10. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string as these make a terrible mess and can also stain the inflatable for which you will be liable for payment to clean or repair.

11. No smoking, fires or barbecues to be used near the inflatable.

12. No pets to be allowed on the inflatable.

13. To book a Character Mascot please be aware that there is a refundable £20 deposit upon delivery which will be returned if our Mascot is returned in the same clean condition it has been hired out.

14. Croydon Bouncy Castles management and staff reserve the right to cancel should it deem necessary with or without notice.

15. Any issues that require resolving between Croydon Bouncy Castles, management, staff and client needs to be resolved in an amicable manner without external involvement, without media involvement including social media.

16. It is advisable to ensure that no one with any history of back or neck problems use the inflatable.

17. In the event of heavy rain it is strongly recommended that the inflatable is switched off for safety reasons. When safe to re-use switch back on and towel dry any remaining wetness before allowing children back on.

18. Water fights are fun but do not spray water near the electric blower.

19. Occasionally check that the inflatable is still securely pegged down.

20. Never switch the blower on and off whilst the inflatable is in use.

21. If the inflatable fails for whatever reason, evacuate immediately to prevent injury.

22. Please remember if the castle is dirty or damaged when collected the hirer is liable for the full repair or cleaning costs.

23. Please note that Croydon Bouncy Castles will not refund any payment less than 20% booking fee. The 20% booking fee can then be put towards a future booking with us or can be passed onto family and/or friends to use with one of our products.

24. All outstanding balances are to be paid up front, in cash, on delivery. If payment is not made when due, admin charges, legal fees and court fees may be added. at your expense.

A-Please make sure when booking a castle that you have the correct measurements for the castle that you are booking as you will still be liable to pay the full balance for the castle hire. Our castles are all measured in feet so please make sure you get your measurements correct from your gardens or halls.

B-Last minute cancellations (on the day) will still have to be paid by the customer to Croydon Bouncy Castles as cbc have taken time to get your order ready for you and spent a lot of time to do so.

25. Please ensure that if it is raining that the blower and extension lead, if supplied, are placed in a dry area. Croydon Bouncy Castles accepts NO responsibility for damaged electrical equipment due to negligence.

26. If Croydon Bouncy Castles arrives late for a pickup, the client/hirer is still responsible for the safety of the equipment until collection.

27. Do NOT allow any guest, Adult or Child to bounce on the STEP of the bouncy castle. All guests are to bounce on the actual castle.

28. Croydon Bouncy Castles accepts no liability for any damage to property. Clients are reminded that our staff need to informed if any underlying pipes or anything else that could be damaged by pegging down the bouncy castle has been informed to our staff in advance of delivering the castle.

29. When hiring the sound system, please be advised that you are responsible for it and any additional equipment that may come with it until it is returned in the same condition that it was hired out.

• We are not allowed to set up a bouncy castle if the Wind Gusts are over 20 mph due to health and safety. We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to these circumstances.
